Four days shy of our Tenth month Anniversary, we are proud to announce Cooking with the Count has received its 1,000,000th visitor!
We can’t express the THANKS we feel today as we watched in excitement as the visitor’s count approached closer and closer to our 1,000,000th visit! We would have loved to actually have seen the 1,000,000th visit. However, the numbers jumped from 999,989 to 1,000,032 before we knew it and kept climbing. Our last six recipe videos were home runs with views scoring over 10,000 YouTube views overnight. I still have to write and publish the last recipe on the website.
Many of you don’t realize what goes on behind the scenes as we put together many of these recipes. We don’t have a staff that prepares these recipes behind the scene, then plate it up to be picture perfect like they do on TV. It’s three of us, Shannon manning the video camera, Gabriella helping out (and the official taste-tester) and me cooking. You see the steam come off the pans and it is as real life as if you were in the kitchen with us. We wash our own dishes, we tweak the recipe with precision so when you prepare that dish for your family and friends it will be as accurate and tasty as it can be. We use organic when possible, along with the best ingredients in all our recipes. That’s what we hope you’ll do too.
I give my wife tremendous KUDOS for filming each video and slowly but surely mastering the video camera. Please understand, my wife hated cameras other than maybe her cell phone camera. We made a great pair since I had never edited a video in my life. Thank you for being patient with us! You might have noticed you haven’t seen my wife on camera yet. I am working on that! She’s somewhat shy especially around cameras, but she is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. I know the ratings will go through the roof when she finally agrees to join me on camera. By the way, she’s an awesome cook too!
We’re excited to announce that we are venturing out across the United States in the late Spring in our Motorhome wrapped with Cooking with the Count sharing America as we promote small town USA, national and state parks, RV parks, state and local festivals; and great Mom & Pop restaurants around the country. We’re going to take you with us to see just how beautiful America is from ground zero. Camping and Glamping are about as American as apple pie and we’re going to sample foods from every location possible. We’re excited and can’t wait to get started. We’re working with sponsors and planning our trips to give you the best experiences we can find. We’ll be visiting our sponsor’s locations to give you a closer look at their products and services for the recognition they deserve. So fasten your seatbelts and bring an appetite because this isn’t fake TV… we’re going on the road with Cooking with the Count!
