Lunt’s Gateway Lobster Pound

The Lunt’s Gateway Lobster Pound is a family owned and operated restaurant in Trenton, Maine.  Stop by to meet Dick and Joyce Harding and many of their five generations of family members that work this restaurant.  They have been serving the Bar Harbor, Maine, area for over 48 years with delicious lobster, crab, fish, steak, ribs, and so much more.

This restaurant is one of only four restaurants in the State of Maine that has a state-of-the-art clam purging system that cleans the clams of grit and other contaminants.  What does that mean? It means you’ll experience some of the best tasting clams you’ll ever eat.  Their lobster tanks hold 1800 pounds of lobster!  I think that’s more lobster than I could eat in my lifetime.  Absolutely amazing!  Sit back and enjoy a sample of what is in store for you when you visit this amazing establishment.  Put this on your bucket list of things to do in your travels… You’ll be happy you did… it’s so worth it!

The Lunt’s Gateway Lobster Pound is located on the Bar Harbor Road
across from the Bar Harbor Airport.
